Our clients purchased this wonderful home on 6th Avenue Parkway in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood, but the yard needed some work. We removed 12 semi loads of debris, and we worked with Denver's Park and Recreation and Forestry divisions to move a dozen large pear trees from close to the house to just inside the gate since the house sits on a parkway.
Concrete, steel and wood were used to create an architectural masterpiece: Steel steps with decorative concrete steppers offer a nice effect in this landscape. Custom steel fencing was modeled after the existing fence, fabricated and installed. Several patios were installed including a fire pit patio with pure white concrete and a cantilevered built in bench to create a unique seating area. A large steel and wood arbor defines the dining area, and large line voltage steel chandeliers offer amazing details to this modern space. A unique custom outdoor grill finishes off the entertaining area; it was constructed by bending ¼ inch thick steel and rusting it. It was finished off by simply pouring concrete in the void. The finished product is creative, unique and cost effective.
